Approach

Typography first,
in two scripts.

Editorial discipline at institutional scale — identity for ministries, V.Wall packages for broadcast, reports and campaigns that ship in two scripts at once.

Bilingual is the default condition. Arabic and English share the page; neither leads, neither acts as a translation of the other.

Nine years, one standard: read clean, in either language, at any size.

Preface

How the work began,
and where it’s arrived.

Doha, 2017. The work began as personal practice — small experiments, trying new things, before any commission came in.

By 2018, the work moved into employment — at Tebyan Media and Nadeeb Qatar, two imprints under one owner. Two years of designing to a brief, on a deadline, for someone else.

From 2019 to 2021, the work moved into the social sector — at Dreama (Orphans Care Center) and AMAN (Protection & Social Rehabilitation Center). Two institutions whose audience couldn’t be ignored.

In 2021, a parallel track opened: Al Kass Sports Channels. Graphic designer and operator on live broadcast — UEFA, FIFA, AFC, Le Mans, World Aquatics. The work has run weekly since.

From 2023 the work returned to government — first at the Ministry of Social Development & Family, now at the Civil Service & Government Development Bureau (CGB) through May 2026. The thread is constant: design for institutions, in two languages, that has to read clearly.
